Ellensburg, WA :: Sometimes it’s nice to do a wedding in our home state of Washington, but staying local means that there’s a chance of getting wet too. Thankfully, the Cascade mountains do a pretty good job of keeping the rain from crossing into the East side of the state (therefore their name), and Ellensburg is just far enough East to avoid usual moisture. All day we could look over at the mountain range and see the tendrils of clouds burning off as they tried to cross the peaks.
Both Rob & Amy were our instant friends. Their easy going attitudes and relaxed approach to a day that often makes people go a bit nuts actually made us feel right at home. It was a bit of a surprise to find out how long Amy had to wait for this day to happen (and Rob took a lot of ribbing for making her wait so long too), but you can just tell they couldn’t be happier with each other. The time they passed before only made this day more special.
Rob and I really want to thank Sonia and Stephen for an amazing job!! You two are so easy to work with and have an amazing talent for capturing our love for one another. When I found your site I fell in love with your work and was so excited that you were available that weekend!! We can’t stop talking about how much fun it was working with you both. I look forward to working with Sonia on another shoot I have up my sleeve for my husband. Thank again, can’t wait for the rest of the photos. You are “the best”.
