Richland, WA :: The morning of the wedding was rainy, almost snowing, and while we were driving into town I was a bit concerned that it might ‘dampen’ the mood. I try not to worry because I am not in control of the weather and I can’t be apologetic about things beyond my control either… But honestly, we are still am responsible for their idyllic wedding photos, and nothing should keep us from those results without it affecting us in some respect. So yes, I often worry. However, I constantly remind myself that set-backs are a large part of life, and how you deal with them is often as important as the final results (and drastically affect the final results as well!) My point here is, keep doing your best and make the most out of the situation you are stuck with… good or bad.
With that in mind, the morning turned out to be wonderful, even while the rain came down. Everyone had accepted it; maybe even expected it, and they’d all planned for it! Nobody even mentioned the rain, and everything was delightful and cozy when we arrived. (I had been silly to worry!) The day warmed up a bit, the rain stopped falling, and the wedding went off without a hitch, and the photos were magnificent.
